In case anyone is wondering why I haven’t been posting, I finally got around to sending my new PC in for service on Friday and I’m having to work with the old hunk-o-junk again until I get it back. They should have it by now, and they promise a seven to ten day turnaround. In the meantime, it’s taken this long just to get this old PC up to date with my files and ready to work from. Of course, most of that delay had to do with my simply not wanting to bother with it.
Anyway… I’m not sure I’ll be posting much, if anything, while I’m waiting. Hell, just catching up with my email is going to take forever considering how most of them are new post notifications from all the blogs I follow! I hate to think of all the good stuff I might be missing, but I just don’t see any way I’m going to be able to read and comment on all that stuff.
If anyone has a post that’s generated a juicy comment stream, I’d appreciate you giving me a link as a comment to this post. It would sure be a great help!

Computers are the worst. I hate them. They can go from somewhat interesting to gigantic paperweight in a nanosecond.

Well I have a series of posts that have brought in a huge amount of traffic for my blog. I just don’t think you’d enjoy them hahaha. They’re all from yesterday (it’s three links so I won’t put them all here). If you REALLY have nothing else better to do then check them out. Hahaha. That was a play on words you won’t understand until you visit the posts.

Macbook?!?! Sigh… Drool… The one that’s being serviced is an EMachine, and it was being serviced at the Acer Repair Center in Texas! They sent me an email yesterday saying that it’s on it’s way back. 😆

I’m not a big fan of anything Microsoft. Apple is out of my price range, but I’ve heard good things about Linux – especially the Ubuntu variation. A friend told me that it can be trial-run from a CD on an existing Windows system without installing. Vewee Intowesting. 😀

Yeah Ubuntu can run off a cd. I ran ubuntu on an imac from 1998, it was as fast as windows xp.
