MORTYS by Bad Kidow Company is a beautifully done French language video with English subtitles. I used Google Translate to present the text from it’s Vimeo page here in English:
“In the 21st century, emotional and generational conflict between mother and son in one detail … The mother is none other than Death.”
Mortys is a film co-directed by, Gaëlle Lebègue (modeling, blend shape, animation), Ness (art direction, set design, matte painting, camera mapping, texture), Mathieu Vidal (character design, modeling, blend shape animation) Nicolas Villeneuve (production management, lighting, rendering, compositing) and produced by ESMA Montpellier.

Puts a bit of a different spin on that whole “Rapture” thing, doesn’t it? 😉

Great animation, and interesting story. I really like it.
Thank you for visiting my blog 🙂
Have a nice Wednesday.
P.S. I like storms, and lightenings.

Thank you so much, and I love your blog! I used to be a weather observer for the Air Force, so I like storms a lot too. The image in my blog header is from that name-that-is-unpronounceable volcano that went off in Iceland awhile back and shutdown air travel for such a long time. I’ve been meaning to figure out how to “photoshop” a few copies of my “gravatar” image over it for effect! 😀

I remember well that story about volcano in Iceland, and how many problems it caused.
Thank you for loving my blog 🙂 I’ll keep visiting yours. I see, that I can find many interesting things here.
Have a great day friend 🙂

Great to have you back again, and I’m so glad I could help out! 😉
And speaking of helping out, you’re just the person to tell me how well Google translated the text from the Vimeo page. What do you think? 😀

Translation is good, is it straight from Google translate or did you change it in better English?

I have one of the 1-click translation buttons from Tools – Google Translate in my browser’s toolbar. I changed only the way the Facebook Fan Page link appears because the text editor I use to backup my posts kept complaining about “special characters” being imbedded in the original text. Thanks! 😀
