Funny thing about bad habits: they’re not only hard to break but, if you work at it hard enough, you can convince yourself that they don’t exist at all. Until, that is, something happens to Gibbs-slap you back into reality!
To make a long story short, I’m three days into resuming my meds after going without them for months. I won’t bore you with the details but suffice it to say that something (quite embarrassing) happened almost two weeks ago that forced me to face the fact that being crazy isn’t actually better than being medicated, and that I should be willing to jump through whatever hurdles I had to at the VA to resume my treatment.
And now that I’ve got that off my chest, let’s try releasing some pent up crazy too…
I STILL want ice water.

That’s a nice batch of not so crazy, IMHO. I keep watching shit get worse and worse. My daughter tells me, “don’t worry Dad, none of this stuff will effect us.” Yeah. Right. It won’t until it does.

Dear IzaakMak.. I wish you well with your treatment my friend.. I can not even begin to know what you have been going through, but I so hope that your new course of action taking the medication again will help get your mind back on track..
There are no right or wrong tracks.. We all of us travel via the seat of our pants.. Hoping we can solve our own issues,, Heal our inner selves.. Yet sometimes we all of us need a helping hand..
Its good to let of steam..
And its good to be truthful with ourselves too…
