SNL’s Take on the Benghazi Hearings

This clip is from last night’s “late-prime” rebroadcast of the May 11/12 episode of Saturday Night Live. I apologize for resorting to the embedded version, with it’s opening advertisement, but the only copy available on YouTube was just too messed up to use…

I want ice water.

  1. That’s where those hearings belong, on Saturday Night Live. But it appears the Republicans want to ride the issue all the way to the 2014 elections. It’s a good way to fill time so they don’t have to deal with the niggling details of immigration, tax reform, gun laws, banking regulation, etc., etc.

    • Absolutely Renxkyoko. Which, of course, is why the dingbats need their tea-bagger organizations to be tax exempt. It’s the only way they can raise enough money to stay in the game! 😉

    • I used that gigya shortcode thingy PT. This one was a little tricky, perhaps due to my just being sleep-deprived and dumb, but I did get it to work after a few false starts… 😳

        • PT, I would’ve never even known about the gigya shortcode at all if it hadn’t been for panos over at wordpress tips. I don’t need to call on him as often now, but if you’re interested, I suggest starting on this List of posts page.

As for the coding for this specific post, I’d be glad to put up a textnip.com file for you containing both the original SNL embed code and the gigya coding I translated it to. And feel free to ask for my help anytime in the future too! 😀
