Well, the fact that he became good enough to perform with two different bands while amassing his huge store of knowledge makes him even more impressive in my eyes! 😀
Brian Cox is the guy from “Wonders of the Solar System” and “Wonders of the Universe” on The Discovery Science Channel. I’ve posted clips before, most notably in my The Worst Flood Ever? post. I love listening to him talk about science! 😀
OMG, no Science Channel?!?! I pay for an “expanded” cable package, with gobs of extra channels I don’t watch, just so I can watch that one and History International (H2)! 😯
Hey I-Man,
I changed my wordpress theme and lost my revolver map. You had sent me the code that works with the funky wordpress settings, but I can’t find it. Would you mind? Thanks.
The WP page for your theme doesn’t show the width of your sidebar, so I had to go with the default 220px width. You can find the code to use in a text widget at http://textsnip.com/e6ff47. Let me know how it works. 😀
It’s been so long since I did this. It’s possible I’m overlooking some thing myself, such as the “identifier” for your site. Try going to http://www.revolvermaps.com/?target=setup yourself to get the code so I can covert it to gigya format for you. BE SURE TO CHECK THE “Flash version via HTML (MySpace etc.)” OPTION!
Brian Cox is such a great presenter and scientist…

Absolutely. The best, IMHO, since Carl Sagan! 😀

I think he is great and not like the usual professor.
Did you know he played in the band D:Ream for years until they disbanded.

Wow Harry, I did not know that. That is just freaking cool! 😀
Apparently he was in another band called DARE as well! 😀

The name Brian Cox doesn’t sound familiar, but I love BBC’s science and nature documentaries. I’ll be watching for this one for sure.

I expect it will come to the Discovery Science Channel first here in the US. If you get that one there, that’s where I’d check. 😀

Hey,
I pasted the info into my widget, but just got a funky symbol. Am I doing something wrong?
