Okay, it’s Sunday and in a bit of a “philosophizing” mood. And while I’m working on more serious “Sunday Sermon” for my “Major Rants” volume, I’d like to start the day with by re-blogging this beautiful video my friend Cool Berman included in his The Monk & The Monkey post:
A determined young boy, Ragu, is sent by his master on his final quest to become a monk. A seemingly simple task becomes an unexpected challenge for Ragu as he discovers the real value of his quest.”
I want ice water.

I loved this video so much, especially the music! Thank you for posting it 🙂

I’ve sent a link to my son. I think my grandkids would get something out of this, if they’ll sit still long enough to watch.

The story does have a nice moral. I hope they like it! 😀

Good easy start before going into a rant, good man. Btw do you have a minor rant category as well or all the rants Major 😀

Well, I always assumed that everything I wrote would invoke the ire of the townsfolk on at least a dinner forks and matches level (as opposed to the pitchforks and torches I expected from the Major Rants), so a Minor Rants volume just didn’t seem necessary at the time. However, when I realized that some people actually liked a lot of my crap, I added the Random Ravings volume to pick up the slack. 🙄

There certainly is a lot to rant about these days. As individuals we lack a way to really get those who need to listen to listen; so we rant. GIVE THEM HELL!

Hell Phillip, I’ve been doing this for 4 years now, and the majority of my early stuff were all rants about one issue or another. My Major Rants, Tolerance… Not!, and In Her Own Words volumes are filled with them. I don’t do it as often now because the response rarely justifies the effort. It’s so nice to get good positive feedback for a change! 😀
