Cool I’ll do some investigating. Do you know of any places that show you how to make an icon in picasa 3? I’ve been trying to make my own icon but it’s been without success.
I don’t know anything about Picassa. My PC and OS are too old for any of the really good stuff to run on. Are you referring to the Avatar/Gravatar thing for your blog? If so, I used the tools supplied by WP to create mine. It’s kinda limited, but I didn’t need much. I have a free image program called XnView that would allow me to adopt any existing image for that purpose. I got it from FileHippo.com, where you can find all sorts of graphics tools I can’t use. Check it out.
No I was thinking more along the lines of my own personal icon that I could post/give out. I was planning on creating my own for people to place on their blogs in exchange for putting their own on mine. That way traffic would increase for both parties. I dunno though, I’ll look around and see what I can find.
You reminded me of something I had forgotten all about! You’d still have to come up with your own graphic, but here’s an interesting approach to doing what you want: Grab My Button!.
I’m not sure it’d work for me, since my sidebar is already so busy. I’d be interested to see what you come up with though. It’s been awhile since I did any tinkering, and I can feel that old itch starting up…

I have been looking for such a widget for a long time, cos I saw a Forum request and I have seen your wish in Panos’ blog too!
But um, I haven’t found a likable widget. I mean I saw something like a “George Clooney” Quote of the day, but that’s too impersonal. I have my eye on it, will let you know when (or rather, if) I find a solution!
