I was reminded of this, one of my all-time favorite songs, while watching TV in the wee hours this morning. I found it to be the perfect “road song” back in the day, when I spent so much of my time traveling from job site to job site.
Too bad I didn’t think of it during the last couple of weeks, when these sentiments were all too real…

It’s years since I heard a Golden Earring song. I can only one other of their songs and I can’t remember the title without googling it.
My ex [being Dutch] was a real Golden Earring fan and introduced me to them on a deeper level than Radar Love…one of the best bands ever. i live permantly in the TWILIGHT ZONE…so you are never alone Izaak !!!!
