Apparently, my Damn – No “Haven” in that Storm! post wasn’t quite as repentant as “The Gawds” would have liked, because the “Shitstorm of Wrath” resumed not long after I posted it. First the winds came, causing the power to flicker on and off and then finally go out for several hours. Then the temperature took a drastic nosedive, the heat carried of by the winds, perhaps, to stoke the fires of Hell ahead of my arrival. And then, after the power came back, I was still plagued by Internet connection issues. Hell, I wasn’t able to access my GMail account until this morning!
You know, stuff like that can really “change” a person. And not necessarily for the better…
Well, as you might well imagine, I’m in need of some serious comic relief today. And I can’t think of a better way to bring back “the happy” than by having a “smashing” good time with the one and only Gallagher. For those who don’t know who that is…
And for those who do, I’ll bet that you’ve never seen him like this:
BTW, I actually started putting this together this morning, but I had to make another of those “awesome” 2 mile round trip walks to the grocers and it’s taken all this time for me to recover! 
I want ice water.

Searching for videos clips can be really frustrating. I’ve been trying to find the one I mentioned to Michelle (below) for a couple of years now!
When I saw the title I was expecting to find something from Smash Mouth Pumpkins… Glad I didn’t though. I watched that slo mo video the other day. I never thought I would enjoy Gallagher smashing food as much as I did when filmed with a Phantom camera. The flaming mallet was the best part, though.

Yup. I was the same way the Gallagher. I mean, it was cool and all with the Phantom… so detailed and high quality. But watch the flames was phenomenal!

Okay, it’s obvious I’m not real good with music. Band names, names of songs, albums, etc. I’m talking about The Smashing Pumkins. I wonder where I got “Smash Mouth” from???
Ahhhh. there is also a band called “Smash Mouth.” I must have just joined the two names into one.
Apparently those two, along with Radiohead, did a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” together. Talk about blasphemy!
BTW, I’ve been trying to recall the name of an old B/W movie where an old priest yells out “Blasphemy!” in such a classic “spittle spewing” and “jowl shaking” way. It’s the image that always pops into my head when I hear that word, and I’d love to have a clip of it for my collection! Does it ring any bells to you?
