Time Lapse Sunday – Part 2

As promised, this is my second post of the day featuring those beautiful time lapse videos we all love. The two I’ve included in this post are from Goldpaint Photography on Vimeo. Again, the links included will take you to the Vimeo page for that video if you want.

We share a common love of night skies. I forget if you’ve ever said you’ve been in the mountains at night. If not, you really must put it on your bucket list. Trail Ridge Road (CO) is an easy way to get up to 11,000 feet and see skies you can’t see anywhere else in the country.

By far, the best view of the night sky I’ve ever seen was along some dark road near Pueblo, Colorado PT. It was very, very dark, and I was so mesmerized by the stunning view through the window, that it didn’t occur to me how frightening it would be to step out and, by shutting the car door, extinguish the only light for miles around!

After I calmed down a bit though, the sky was a sight that I’ll never, ever, forget!!!! :D
