Sometimes, my ranting and raving leaves me feeling like the proverbial dog howling at the moon. As a joke between friends, I threatened recently to start mocking my own rage. I think this song is a good beginning…
So you think your schooling’s phoney
I guess it’s hard not to agree
You say it all depends on the money
And who is in your family tree
Right (right), you’re bloody well right
You got a bloody right to say
Right, you’re bloody well right
You know you got a right to say
Ha-ha you’re bloody well right
You know you’re right to say
Yeah-yeah you’re bloody well right
You know you’re right to say
Me, I don’t care anyway
Write your problems down in detail
Take them to a higher plane
You’ve had your cry, no I shouldn’t say wail
In the meantime hush your face
Right (quite right), you’re bloody well right
You got a bloody right to say
Right, you’re bloody well right
You know you got a right to say
Ha-ha you’re bloody well right
You know you’re right to say
Yeah-yeah you’re bloody well right
You know you’re right to say
You gotta bloody right to say
You got a bloody right to say
You got a bloody right to say
You got a bloody right to say
I want ice water.

That song was so popular during my teen years! Takes me back to think of it.
I love it. It’s always been one of my favorites.
haha nice way of mocking your own rage… ‘You’ve had your cry, no I shouldn’t say wail
In the meantime hush your face’ sweet…
You’ve zeroed in exactly on the lyrics I had in mind!
That’s pretty good music. In it’s time. Some kind of funky Rhythm & Blues ?
“Write your problems down in detail
Take them to a higher plane”
Hey, was that a 70′s premonition as a futuristic manual for blogging ?
Nothing like jazzy piano and sax to trigger that emotional tidal wave. And those words are what make this the perfect song to start the mockery of this blog’s year and a half long rant-fest!

I like that song…. It has a cool sound… You don’t hear that in todays music!
So true!
I dig it.
The lyrics are killer.
I’m like one of those old Hollywood musicals. In my head, my thoughts almost always call up the memory of at least one song. And when I’m alone, I’m usually singing them too!
As yes–Bloody Well Right. Classic. Can still hear it playing on my internal soundtrack.
It is a goody, and this blog needs all the ‘class’ it can get!
